Book Review: Fairest Marissa Meyer
4:58 AM
In this stunning bridge book between Cress and Winter in the bestselling Lunar Chronicles, Queen Levana’s story is finally told.
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the fairest of them all?
Fans of the Lunar Chronicles know Queen Levana as a ruler who uses her “glamour” to gain power. But long before she crossed paths with Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, Levana lived a very different story – a story that has never been told . . . until now.
Marissa Meyer spins yet another unforgettable tale about love and war, deceit and death. This extraordinary book includes full-color art and an excerpt from Winter, the next book in the Lunar Chronicles series.

I have fallen in love with this world, and still falling. This was a great way for learning more about the characters in this series. I enjoyed knowing more about Queen Levana’s story and how she became this way. Also, knowing more about the other characters. Seeing that this was just a short story, I wanted more. More, more and more! I find that the Lunar Chronicle books are never long enough for me, I always want more. And that happened with me with this book, I wanted more. I wanted me learn more about Queen Levana and Winter. This book was a perfect to help overcome the wait for the next book, Winter.
Seeing Queen Levana grow in this book into who she in now was something I thought about while reading the other books. These pages showed more of a person who always put up a strong front, seeing that there is/was more to her was a great. So, of her thoughts was twisted, crazy… it made me just go ‘wow’.
Over all I loved this book, and wish there was more of these for other characters.
