Review
This is book two in the 'A Touch of Gold' Series and I couldn't be happier to jump back into this world. I was crazy about book one because I enjoyed the curse Kora has. After all, it's one I've never read about. So, this book picks up after the first one where she had to face pirates, now she's facing her people who are turning against her and are wanting to overpower her. So when she learns that some are going to try and kill her she then sets out to chase down the killer. She ends up on a mysterious island that disappears called Jipper. The book is action after action, I enjoyed seeing these characters, watching them grow even more. Kora and Royce's relationship is so fun to read. Just like in the last book, I had a blast reading the sea scenes and the crew. Annie Sullivan has easily become an author who I can count on enjoying her works. Tiger Queen, a different book of hers is my favorite, and just like that one, A Curse of Gold, both have such strong and vivid worlds and characters I always find myself rooting for. I can't wait to read more by her.
Dive into A Curse of Gold because its a treasure to read!
