I was thinking of different way I could be posting here as I never know what to post. Then it hit me I do a lot of reading and help run a review blog. So I was thinking that a cool why to keep up with my goal of at less posting three times a week would be if I did a "Weekly Reading" Where I tell you what I'm reading that week and what I really think of it. It'll be once a week and I'm going to try and make it every Wednesday; right in the middle of the week. The first on will be up soon.
I entered an other short story competition on Movellas. The topic is Write a short story of no more than 3,000 words where a vintage/old object plays an important role.

I waited out side of the brick house. This is the closet I
have ever been to a house this nice. My legs were shaking as I took a step
closer to the gate. I place my hand on the gate about to leave. Changing my
mind I walk off a few steps. But I have to do this; no I need to do this. I can
do this. Turning I see a blond hair guy. He was standing on the other side of
the gate. We just looked at each other. We had the same blond hair and brown
eyes. Not a word was said.

Little Wings
Little Wings was enter in a Competition on Movellas last year, I did not win but I sill love this story.
Quinn has lived most of her life with only her mother and her. But when her mother gets remarried and head to her honeymoon. Quinn is ships off to the land of barbies, beaches and her father.
[Inspired by Little Mix - Wings] The competition on Movellas was to pick from one of the five songs they that listed and write a short story based around the song you choices.

“But you don’t forgive me?”
“Maybe one day but not right now.”
“I’ll make it up to you.” Now it sounded as if he was speaking to himself.
I hugged my father goodbye then I boarded the plane. I guess everything I went though those weeks just shows me that I can make it. No matter what, I’m going to fly. I’ spreading my wings; fly high as the skyscrapers. I didn’t brake down, cry, or even sink to their leave.
I’m firing up on that runway called life I’m going somewhere with these wings.

Fighting for a new life; The Immunity wants rules, power and The Collected wants freedom, rights. Trew and Syrah don't remember coming to this new land all they can remember is how much the Immunity and the Collected hates each others. They don't know why, don't understand but the fight for control is on. Who will win?
