So, these are all book that I still can't believe that I've haven't read. Some of them are classics books while other are new ones. But they are still icon books that people know well. These books are are all so different. Each one brings a different story about life to these pages and I can't wait to read and learn all the lessons; fall in love the characters. Have you read any of these and what do you think of them?

P.S. I love the covers!

  1. Nice list! I've read only The Great Gatsby maybe a couple of years ago, and it was good. I could understand why it's such an American classic, though I didn't fall in love with it, but it was really good. Most of the rest are on my TBR pile, too.

    1. I've only heard good things about The Great Gatsby but the movie looks good and I've been wanting to read it before it was a movie. Just haven't but hoping I will this year,

  3. I want to read Lord of The Flies too!

What I would say with To Kill A Mockingbird, it took me a long time to get into it. The historical context is great and very interesting, but there was a lot of what I thought to be "filler" chapters so it felt quite sluggish at times! Unpopular opinion I know, seeing as Harper Lee is releasing a sequel after 50 odd years and everyone is very excited about it but what can I say haha :')

    1. Same here, I just need to get my hands on a copy!

I've tried to read it a few time and I just couldn't get into it but I want to read To Kill A Mockingbird as its such a classic. I know 50 years later, I just hope it doesn't pull away from the classic of the first book.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  4. Very nice list! I absolutely adored To All the Boys. It was such a good book, I highly recommend! I ummm, skimmed The Great Gatsby. I feel like I more thoroughly read Lord of the Flies, but I don't remember much about it so maybe I just skimmed it too! I was the only person on the planet to not like The Walled City, so I am sure you'll like it! And I really, really need to read The Raven Boys and Since You've Been Gone! Hope you are able to read these soon!

    1. That's what I've been reading everywhere about that book, that its a must read.
I've been wanting to read the Great Gatsby but other books have just been getting in the way. ;)
I've read a few reviews where they didn't like it so I don't think you're the only one but I've heard good things about it; I'll just have to wait and see what I think of it!
I've read book one to The Raven Boys but not two yet!
I hope you get to read all the books on your list too!

  5. I also can't believe that I haven't read To Kill a Mockingbird - it's one of those books that has perpetually been on my to-read list, but for one reason or another I've just never got around to actually reading it.
