Former Navy SEAL Cameron Lyle is transitioning to life as a husband, father and government contractor. But his thirst for adventure has driven him to a secret life of high-stakes crime that has gained the attention of the FBI. When a mysterious device is unearthed in the mountains of Bolivia, an ancient brotherhood emerges to offer Cameron the opportunity of a lifetime—to steal the greatest discovery in human history from a rogue cell of U.S. intelligence officers. As a beleaguered FBI agent closes in and a team of deadly spies hunt him down, Cameron leads his pursuers on a worldwide manhunt as he sets off to find the scientist who can explain it all. Secret societies, ancient technology and international espionage all converge in a journey that will ultimately test the bounds of reality.

   Review

This book falls into a genre I don't read much of but I still wanted to give it a try and I'm glad I did. This is a past paced, action-packed, page-turner. We follow Cam who used to be a SEAL.

The main character teams up with his brother and his friend named, Trip who is a hacker. And the story unfolds from there, I don't want to say much because I don't want to spoil anything, but this book is filled with many twists, and how some parts play out, was so well done.

This book is only 268 pages and the pacing fits the style of book and there is so much going on in theses pages, but I never gotten confused. It was a fun read!

One of my favorite parts was the opening scene, with the old tomb, an old tomb are always fun to read about. This book has a sci-fi woven into it, and I was surprised by it. It's a perfect mix of action, history and mystery!
