[Quiz] Which Divergent Series Character Are You?

Which Divergent Series Character Are You?

I got....

For 30 % you are: You are Christina! She is funny and loyal. You are dependable and eventually forgiving.
20 % of 104902 Quiz participants had this profile! Profile A

You could also get this result:
For 30 % you are: You are Tris! She only has 6 fears! You are Divergent and care about loved ones. Profile B

Or even this one:
For 20 % you are: You are Cara! She is very smart. You care about friends and family, but also are willing to take a stand for what you believe in. Profile C

Or even this one:
For 20 % you are: You are Johanna! She is kind, but powerful. You may seem simple and caring on the outside, but inside, you are strong-willed and will take risks. Profile D

Or even this one:
For 0 % you are: You are Jeanine! She is ruthless and coldly intelligent. You believe you have good intentions, but others don't. Profile E

 My Thoughts!

I took one other character quiz and got Four (See last weeks post.) Basically, I'm Four, Christina and Tris smashed together! I do see how I am a mix of all of these characters. This is also why I believe I would Divergent because I don't fit into one area or like just one character.

[Quiz] What Divergent Character Are You?

I got Four -

You are brave, smart, and Divergent. You have few fears and you hate it when people act reckless instead of brave. You are single-minded and have trouble trusting people.
You are also in love with Tris.

 My Thoughts!

Four is my favorite. He kinda reminds me of myself in a few ways, but I have way more then just four fears. If you take Four and Tris and smash them together you would a bit more me. Over all I am happy with this choice. He does anything he can for the people he loves, I would do the same.

Please feel free to take the quiz and share it here with me! I'd love to know what you go!

[Quiz] Which “Divergent” Faction Are You?

 My Thoughts!

See, I feel that I fit better in with Divergent because I believe I could easy fit into more then on Faction. Four has his mind thinking the same way I do. I don't want to be just one thing. So, I feel belong with Divergent.

This is my second 'What Faction Do You Belong In?' Quiz this first on I took (You can find it on last Wednesday 3/9/2016) I got Abnegation that is one of the four I could easily fit into. Over all I think I may take some more to see what one I get the most of.

Songs I Wish That Were Books

Well, this was the easiest Top Ten for me, but as you can tell there are way more then ten. This is something I do a lot. I'll hear a song and be like, man that would make a killer book. So here is a play list of 20+ songs that I would love to have made into books. I'll talk about a few of the songs.

Jinx by DNCE
DNCE is my newest crazy about band. I am crazy in love with this song. It would be a sweet secret love. Were they playing it cool, but the characters are over the moon in love with each others.

Perfect by One Direction
This could be my favorite song by 1D. But for me the story I see, it just a could over older teen celebs  having that simple free love story. Where they go a do crazy things, even if they're not meant to be together.

Blank Space by Taylor Swift Cover by Tanner Patrick
I see this song as a story that starts of the fall in love fast but then the character switches to a completely person. Be madly in love that's on a roller-coaster.

Don't Say Goodnight by Hot Chelle Rae
I love Hot Chelle Rae and there style so for me I see this song as a summer love story book. The kind you don't want to end because the character as easy to read and its just light, fun.

Castaway by 5 Seconds of Summer
I this would be a beak up story. Were it starts off with the lead character getting dumped and most of the book is trying to find out why, and not waiting to move on but then realize that it's for the best.

Wild Things by Alessia Cara
I see this song as a book about a group of friends who are the outcasts in there small town. They have crazy hair, styles, and just don't fit in their small town; and the best part is they don't care, it's just about them having fun and learning that being yourself is what life is about.

Lihting in a Bottle by The Summer Set
For me this song feels like it would be a story about the last summer before college. Maybe a road trip? Basically the characters last summer of freedom, before adulthood.

Outer Space/Carry On by 5 Seconds of Summer
I love this song and get a lot of ideas from it but for me I get a Syfy feeling. Something like Divrgent, Legnd, or even Red Queen. A young love couple facing the odds.

The Wolver (Reprise by Dustin Tebbutt
This song gives me the feel of a character who finds out their world is not as it seems and has to figure out out to make it right.

Eyes on You by Heffron Drive
Heffron Drive is an band I have been in love with for years now and when I heard this song the idea of a  modern Robin Hood story came to mind.

So there is my brake down of ten songs from my ever growing list. Maybe on day all of them will be turned into stories. (What! I can dream!)

Let me know what you think, and leave your link I really can't wait to read more of these!

Books to Movies Rumors?

5 Books to Movies
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
Shadow And Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Legend by Marie Lu
Red Queen Victoria Aveyard

That’s right! I am doing a book to movies post. Now I took an hour looking for up info on these books to see if they are true or not. And to tell the truth… I have no clue. I’ve read that they are and that they’re not. I’ve read that Brad Pitt Is Bringing ‘Illuminae’ to the Big Screen on Screen Crush. I’ve read that Marie Lu has finished the screenplay and sent it off, on a post by MTV. I mean there’s a lot of info, yes it’s going to be a movie on these books but not a lot of info about the movies themselves. Dates, casting. A few have director. Like, 'Harry Potter' producer to make 'Shadow and Bone' | But that was back in 2012; and I can’t seem to find any more new news on this.
So, I am going to take time and believe that all of these books will become movies. With The Divergent Series: Allegiant coming out in theaters March 18th and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 coming out on DVD March 22, 2016. I was thinking I wasn’t going to have any more books to movies; other than 'Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them' by J.K. Rowling. But after reading Romper post on 15 Fantasy Books To Read Before They Become Movies
Out of all these five movies, not counting Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, I am really hoping that Red Queen will be a movie. I am just in fangirl love for this book; it was make a beautiful kick butt movie.

There is a long list of other books I would love to see on the big screen. But here are five that I would love to be seen turned into movies.

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
Matched by Ally Condie
Angelfall by Susan EE
The Selection by Kiera Cass
The Raven Boys Maggie Stiefvater

Now, I should have looked to see if there are any rumors about these books. But I would complete loss it if I couldn’t find and facts that they were. I love watching books be turned into movies and tv shows. It’s so much fun finding out who’s cast as who. Waiting for the trailers. Then seeing it. And all the amazing chats to have with fellow book loves. It’s an amazing journey.
What books do you hope gets turned into movies? And do you have any news on these movies?

Do you have a go to website to find out what books are being turned into movies, because I can’t seem to find out.

Review: Me and Earl and the Dying Girl

Greg Gaines is the last master of high school espionage, able to disappear at will into any social environment. He has only one friend, Earl, and together they spend their time making movies, their own incomprehensible versions of Coppola and Herzog cult classics. Until Greg’s mother forces him to rekindle his childhood friendship with Rachel. Rachel has been diagnosed with leukemia—-cue extreme adolescent awkwardness—-but a parental mandate has been issued and must be obeyed. When Rachel stops treatment, Greg and Earl decide the thing to do is to make a film for her, which turns into the Worst Film Ever Made and becomes a turning point in each of their lives. And all at once Greg must abandon invisibility and stand in the spotlight.

I’am still trying to work my feelings out about this book. At time I loved it. Thought that Greg was a strong character that, at times, I cared for. More towards the end. Truth. I don't think I cared for him until I finished the story and could take it in as a whole. Then I seemed to understand Greg better. Rachel is that character (even person) who’s put in someone's life for a reason. I believe that not every single person you meet is meant to change you or your life but there are ones dashed here and that. And in this story its Rachel, and I don't think is it because she's dying. If you take that away I still believe should would have changed these characters. Yes, I have a lot I can say about this book but that doesn't mean I loved it but I definitely don't hate it. I’m switzerland with this book. It could be that I don't read comedy books but I don't think that's it I think it's the fact that I wanted to love this book so much but it fell flat at times. As the story goes the more I found myself enjoying it. Overall do I wish I never read this book, no I liked it. Will I reread it, probably not. But still it made me smile.

[Quiz] Which “Divergent” Faction Do You Actually Belong In?

I got: Abnegation -

You got: Abnegation

Abnegation is the faction dedicated to selflessness and simplicity, always putting others before themselves. Initiates are forced to reject a life of vanity and self-indulgence, protecting themselves from a selfish life of greed and envy. Mirrors, gossiping, and buying luxury items are strictly forbidden. Their attire consists of gray and their substance in the Choosing Ceremony is stone.

 My Thoughts!

This is me. 100% me. I am a lover, giver, help others before myself. It's just how I have been my whole life. I am slowly become a person who can say no when I need to. (But still hard for me to follow through, saying and doing are two different things.)

Please feel free to take the quiz and share it here with me! I'd love to know what you go!

Long ago the old texts of ancient Egypt alluded to scrolls in which King Tut spoke to the people from beyond the tomb. Many archeologists put this down to an incorrect translation of the ancient Egyptian texts. Others swore to the accuracy of the translation. None of that mattered because the scrolls in question could not be found. Scholars labeled it a hoax, something that never existed. It was ludicrous to imagine someone speaking from the grave. They were wrong on both accounts.

#1--from his childhood:

Sailing toy boats
When I was small, palace carpenters made me toy boats. Sometimes these were made to resemble the barges that would carry crops and animals down and up the Nile from one settlement to another. Some were fully outfitted royal barges complete with sails and the poles used when the barge was moving up river. I started playing with these in the palace pools. Later, as I got better at loading them and maneuvering them, I would find a place near the palace where the Nile ran slower. There I would dig out canals for the boats to float in. Sometimes Ankhesenpaaten would help me. One time we had so many canals built that it took all afternoon for our crop barges and the royal barges to enter into the canal system and then sail through and re-enter the Nile. I loved those days with Ankhesenpaaten by the Nile.
#2—from his childhood

My Grandmother

My nursemaid was Maya, but it was my Grandmother Tiye that I remember the most. She doted on me when she visited and showered me with motherly love. She appointed herself and her brother Ay as my protectors, but Grandmother was away a lot. After my father became Pharaoh, she continued to oversee the military as she did for my grandfather Amenhotep III. When I was small, she cut off a lock of her reddish-gold hair and concealed it inside of four small nesting sarcophagus coffins.
“Tutankhaten,” she said. “In the innermost sarcophagus I have placed a lock of my hair which rests underneath a solid gold statue of you. Keep the coffins safe and hidden in your room. They will protect you when I am unable to.”
I thanked her and prized such a gift, not only for protection, but because my grandmother’s gift was wonderfully made. The outer sarcophagus was made of wood; the second of plaster covered with gold leaf; the third of wood which contained the solid gold statue of myself; the fourth again of plaster covered with gold leaf and containing my grandmother’s gift.

I am a retired high school English teacher. A devourer of books growing up, my profession introduced me to writings and authors from times long past. Through my studies and teaching, I fell in love with the Ancient and Medieval Worlds. Now, I hope to inspire young readers and those young-at-heart to read more through my Quest Books set in these worlds.
