As Snow Falls Tour For Author Elle Klass

-Elle Klass Bio-
Elle was born into this world in Redwood City, California and spent her childhood growing up in the fabulous San Francisco Bay Area. She is an avid San Francisco Forty Niners fan. She has raised two beautiful daughters, and currently resides in Florida. For fun she reads, spends time at the beach, travels, and enjoys time with her favorite friends, and family. She is a night-owl known to be a hermit during rainy days, as she has a love for sun, and is mostly found poolside over the hot, humid summer months.
As Snow Falls
It is the 20th century in California and the main character, a woman, has lived her life to the fullest. Nestled in her favorite spot during a snow storm she recalls the events of her life from her earliest memories of resisting birth and losing that futile battle to finding her true love and their beautiful family. There are monkey wrenches thrown in at every turn as she struggles to find her place; demonic teachers, cliquish students, her nightmare job, a love lost, and an earthquake that threatens her family. Life continues to dismay her until she can’t take it anymore and sets off on a journey. She is a lost soul with no destination, a wandering heart until something happens, something so incredible she could have never imagined it! Through her harrowing and dark story she finds light, justice and true love. She is a humble and lovable character who is quite ordinarily extraordinary. Her story is anyone’s story.

Jacob had grown into a very handsome young man. The girls adored him. He was quite a lady’s man from an early age. Having an older sister, he was used to the attention he received from her and her friends. They always thought he was adorable, and they mooned all over him. When he was twelve, one of Natalie’s friends, a cute blond girl with bright blue eyes, fair skin, and rosy cheeks, had the biggest crush on him. He had a crush on her as well. He wasn’t shy around girls at all, and when they flirted with him he flirted back. Anyway, Nikki found him and the girl kissing in the backyard one Saturday afternoon. As Reese tells it, Nikki went white as a sheet, her eyes rolled up into her head, and she almost fainted. He had to catch her to keep her from hitting the ground. He thought it was hilarious, but Nikki kept a very close eye on Jacob after that. I don’t think she let him out of her sight for more than thirty seconds at a time. He was a very good-looking boy and charming, and the girls couldn’t keep their hands off him. They chased him everywhere. I knew one day, when he found the right girl, she wouldn’t be chasing him. He would be chasing her.

7 day metaphor challenge Day 3

7 day metaphor challenge

If I were a day of the week, I would be _____ because…

If I were a day of the week, I would be Thursday because it's almost the end and its just my favorite day.

Hunger Games Trailer

So, its the first sneak peak to Hunger Games: Mockingay.... I think for a first little teaser it was good. I hope that the next one shows more of the story line. I've read the book and want to see how close it is to the books story line. In so many moves they taken out my some of my favorite parts or parts that I believe would have made the movie easier to follow and better; but that always happens when you have to take a book and shove it all in to less the two hours. (most of the time)

Movella of the Week

So, I know I'm not the only one who have thought about an alternate ending to The Fault in Our Stars. All the what if's and unknown ideas that can and do form in these minds of ours is endless well. But a young author on Movellas has once again taken the air from my lungs as reading the short story It's No Longer Just a Metaphor by Synchrochic333.
I've given time to think about what if Hazel Grace was to go first Leaven behind a sadden, heart broken, Augustus Waters. Would it be sadder? More painful? This young writer has opened the door to one way an reversed alternate ending could go.
Synchrochic333, has filled the short story up with passion and feeling that The Fault in Our Stars fans will enjoy reading. Many part reminded me of the Augustus Waters that John Green had filled with our hearts. The witness she was able to keep while writing a sad ending for him is amazing. Synchrochic333's play on words is magnificent. One line that stand out more for me was “I just felt numb, like a zombie, like a corpse.” Any one who has wanted or has thought of the 'What if's” of an alternate ending should give this a read.

Full House Reading Challenge Card

Full House Reading Challenge Card

I need to get caught up on my reading card this week. SO my blog goal for this week is to fill out and get were I am at on this card. I love doing this and I'm always looking at it to see what I needs to be marked off but never coming to fill it out. Haha. This week there be a few posts on this...

Book from a series:

Yeah, I'm like the last person to read Divergent but I have to say any way I'm glad I read it. It's different, well written and keeps you guessing on what will happen next. This idea to this and the characters are amazing. The author has really out done and opened the world to a new kind of stories. Four would have to be my favorite because at first we know hardly anything about him. Slowly throughout the this page turner we get to know who he is and his past. I enjoyed not knowing what was going to happen next, you could try and guess but never really turned out the way you thought. There's some parts that I had to stop and be like did that just happen. I won't point any parts out. But this is a read for anyone who likes things that's different.

Nails #1

These I did a year ago but wanted to share them because they are two of my favorite one's I've done last year. I love the colors and the simpleness they have.

Movella of the Week

The Fault in Our Stars is more then amazing. It takes us on a roller-coaster of feelings throughout the pages. After the last few page I know I wasn't the only one who wonder what happens to Hazel. A young writer has taken this change and developed an amazing short story called The End. Alys Jones a young writer on Movellas has written a story that took my breath away. Her ability to capture a writing style that is her own but still sounds like the Hazel that we've came to love, the one John Green created oh so well. The End is a bitter sweet short story, that was similar to how I as a read of The Fault in Our Stars, thought about how Hazel's ending of her own story would go. I did find tears in my eyes as I read the words to this short story. The Witness, the heart and so much more that Alys Jones as able to put into this story she made is one that many The Fault in Our Stars fans will enjoy!
