January 13: Top Ten 2014 Releases I Meant To Read But Didn't Get To

Zodiac (Zodiac #1) by

"At the dawn of time, there were 13 Houses in the Zodiac Galaxy. Now only 12 remain…."

So I learned about this book and have been thinking about it quite a lot. It sounds amazing, a must have I'm hoping to read this year.

Now That You're Here (Duplexity #1) by Amy K. Nichols

"In a parallel universe, the classic bad boy falls for the class science geek."

This sounds like it will could be a page turner. I enjoy the classic plot line where the bad boy falls for the science geek. So, this is one I wanna read here soon!

Falls the Shadow by

"When Cate Benson was a kid, her sister, Violet, died. Two hours after the funeral, Cate’s family picked up Violet’s replacement. Like nothing had happened."

This one sounds like it would be hard to put down. This line "mind-uploading technology, she even has all of the same memories as the girl she replaced" Oh doesn't that just make you wanna read more?

The Unhappening of Genesis Lee by

"...But Links can be stolen, and six people have already lost their lives to a memory thief, including Gena’s best friend..."

This is one I like, just found out about a few weeks back. The story sounds wonderful! You say "Memory thief" and it pulled me in, making me think more & more about it!

The Walled City by

"730. That's how many days I've been trapped.
18. That's how many days I have left to find a way out."

Simple read the words above... Who wouldn't want to know more about that!

The Telepath Chronicles

"In THE TELEPATH CHRONICLES, fourteen of today's top sci-fi writers share stories of the uncanny and unexpected."

This book should be a good read. I enjoy books written by more than one author. I helps shows different writing styles.

The Young Elites (The Young Elites #1) by

"I am tired of being used, hurt, and cast aside."

I'm a fan of Marie Lu, I enjoy her writing style. Also this book sounds good!

Snow Like Ashes (Snow Like Ashes #1) by

"A heartbroken girl. A fierce warrior. A hero in the making."

I've been seeing nothing but great reviews on this book. From everything I've read this book sounds amazing!

Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis

"Princess Snow is missing... Her home planet is filled with violence and corruption at the hands of King Matthias and his wife as they attempt to punish her captors..."

This book just sounds like it would be a simple good, page turner book. I love the wolds of Princess & Kings. P.S. I just love the cover on the book!

Winter Falls (Twin Willows Trilogy #1) by Nicole Maggi

"Things look up when a new family comes to town, but when she falls for the hot, mysterious son, Jonah, her life turns upside down."

I enjoy stories were two characters who meet for the first time. There is something about characters meeting and watching there relationships grow. This line here "powerful magic in the surrounding forest." is another reason I want to read this book. Should be good!
